Ok I know you all are thinking this is going to be about how wack it is to request the dj play a pop song. Now that ius annoying but it’s actually not what I’m talking about
I’m talking about the dj before me asking me to let their last track play out til the end or close to the end. It would be one thing if this happened 5 minutes before my set ended.
But it seems like I’m always hearing “man, you gotta let this track play to the end” right when I’m supposed to start, unofficially trying to extend their time slot
I’m not going to do that. I’ve never asked another dj to do that.
If you want me to mix after the last breakdown of your track or whatever then just make sure you are unplugging your headphones a few minutes before your set time is up
Cause your track is on your time baby! If it’s that darned special, then plan better!
