A month ago I returned from a glorious though intense working trip to Hawaii, to my new life as full time dj/event organizer
Like anyone, I had doubts and fears, real things like rent and health insurance and supporting a family.
What I told myself was that everyone who quit their job to start a new business has the same fears- it’s a risk!
Then I reminded myself that I’m not even starting a new business, but continuing a business I’ve actually been doing 2 decades now. It’s been 6 years since I decided my teaching job, though comfortable, was a dead-end road and since then I have been putting more and more energy into music and events.
It’s absolutely scary to give up out secure income to pursue our dreams.
But I had to ask myself, what could I accomplish in my business if I quit my job and have an extra 40 hours a week to put into it?
