One thing that bugs me nowadays is when djs don’t mix out of me at all. Sometimes they make a big show about giving me props, but you’ll get more props from me by showing me you know how to mix out of a track that you’ve never heard before, and blessing the dance floor with an actual mix instead of your statement intro.
If you don’t know how to mix out of someone else’s track then you should not be djing outside your house.
Here’s what happens: you just stopped the music. You wouldn’t do that in the middle of your set would you? So why is it ok at the end? It’s the same dance floor, right?
